Hello again my friends,

I hope a good day is finding you today.  I'm happily enjoying some time at home in rainy Jacksonville.  Some family members just arrived in town to spend the week and I couldn't be happier.  I foresee a week of late night coffee drinking, long conversations, and perhaps a touch of beer.  the word "perhaps" is entirely superfluous and completely untrue.  

I am proud to let you know that my first live album has just now been released today.  It is a grouping of stripped-down performances of several songs from the "Sparrow" record, exactly in the way they were envisioned when I first wrote them. It was recorded from a live session I did a few months back while in New York.  I do sincerely hope you enjoy them.  You may pick up the EP exclusively from iTunes.

Additionally, I am looking forward to seeing many of you on the road next month as I'll be taking off for tour very soon.  I'm very fortunate to have the wonderful Jenny Owen Youngs joining us for the shows, which I think will make these very fun nights.  Hopefully we'll be playing somewhere near to where you are.  Can't wait to say hello to you guys again.

For now for me it's a couple more weeks of enjoying time at home, a bit of reading, and perhaps some song writing when the inspiration strikes.  Ideas are beginning to flow and muses are returning.
