Hey everybody,

I hope this finds you all very well today. I’m writing to you from frozen, snow-covered Illinois only hours after returning home from being on the road for a couple weeks. We drove home from New Mexico to Illinois in one stretch (a new personal best), 4 hours sleep, then back on daddy duty first thing in the morning. I wouldn’t change it for anything.

I’m very pleased to let you know that I have finished and will be releasing a new record very soon. The date isn’t set in stone yet, but it will likely be sometime right around my upcoming US tour, which will begin in May. The new record is called Pittsburgh. It is a collection of songs about the city I was born and spent most of my life in. It means a lot to me and I hope it will to you as well.

The upcoming US tour will just be me solo, a few guitars, and a whole bunch of my songs. Stripped down to the core of what they were the day I first wrote them. I’ll be playing both old and new ones, including ones from the new record.
I’m also extremely happy to let you know that once again one of my favorite songwriters, Denison Witmer, will be opening the shows. Not much of a beard, but one hell of a beautiful performer. You’re going to love it.

Following that the band and I will be heading overseas to play summer festivals and shows. We’ll be traveling farther and wider than ever before.

Lots of shows. New record. Same awesome as shit beard.

It’s going to be a busy year. I hope you find moments of calm within it.

*New Album – Pittsburgh

As William mentioned, he will be releasing his new album Pittsburgh shortly (see album art above). For most tour dates, you will be able to pre-order your copy of the album when you purchase your tickets. You can bundle an Autographed Physical Copy of the album which will be available for pick up at the merch booth at the show you attend or a Digital Copy of the album that you will receive 1 week prior to the release date.

Additionally, when bundling Pittsburgh with your ticket purchase (either digital or autographed physical versions), as a special thank you, you’ll receive the title track digitally delivered on the Friday after your order has been placed!
